Officium Triste - The Pathway
This release of Officium Triste is a re-release of their 2001 album "The Pathway". But as a good re-release you get bonus material. This time the old material was remastered and you get five bonus songs, two live songs and three 2007 promo songs.
The sound of the band is the same as you are used to, slow and melodramatic doom. Easy going grunts which give you a feeling of desperation and the opposite with clean vocals.
In the slow tunes you hear the melody of keyboards that give you a melancholic feeling. Also the growling guitars with the leads create that doomy atmosphere.
If you don't have the 2001 version you have to buy this one but if you have it you might wanna skip as three times "Roses On My Grave" might be a bit too much...
