Officium Triste – Charocal Hearts

The band was formed in 1994 out of the ashes of death metal band Reïncremated. The members of Reïncremated changed their style to a more melodic and heavy approach, influenced by acts such as Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride and Anathema.

With the album "Charocal Hearts" the band relaesd a 15 years anniversary compilation cd under Displeased Record. The Band from the Netherlands is covering all aspects which are necessary for the Dark/Doom Metal Style. Mid to Slow tempo, melodic lead guitar, long-winded heavy power chords, deep growls, spoken verses, a synthisizer and a load of reverb and delay.Sounding good, but nothing that nobody knows from the other bands in the early90ies.If you remember, sitting on a lake with thousand tales...

This album is absolutetly appropriate to relax and to sink into sorrow or simply to jump back into the „lake“. Nothing worlshocking but recommend for fans of slow and depressive metal.
