Nefas - Promo 2006
Nefas is a brutal death metal band from Italy and their latest recording was released in 2003. Currently looking for a label they released this promo with 3 tracks. So what can you expect? First of all a very good recording and a nice cover. Musically the three songs are devastating! Continues double bass blasts, gurgling vocals and freaky guitars in hyper fast tunes. Occassionally you get a mid tempo break but then it goes back on speed. It is not just blind ramming to be brutal but they do it is a skilled and technical way. The guitars are riffing with a twist but no leads to finish it off. Nefas is one of the most and better extreme death metal bands from Italy and I surely hope they find a label to release some new stuff.
