Necrovation – Breed Beadness Blood
After a first demo tape and another two 7” now it’s time for the first length cd for this Swedish death metal band. Necrovation are totally wedded to the classic death metal old school: the atmospheres, the sound, the arrangements... all come directly from the glorious past of the memorable bands from Sweden and not only, like Mercilles and Morbid Angel just to make a couple of names. The only problem is that if it’s true that the final mood of the album is nice, dark at the right point and pleasant for the nostalgic ones, it’s also true that the bands from the 80’s had another level of inspiration and ideas. An album like Breed Beadness Blood should need a touch of modernity to try to make up for a clear shortage of winning feelings.
