Narnia - Course Of A Generation

Narnia are a Sweden band formed 1995. They issued 5 albums and a live DVD since. They faced a big challenge replacing founding singer Christian Liljegren. The new voice is called German Pascual, whose deeper, darker delivery brought changes to the sound. The exuberant, joyful choruses remained and keep the overall aesthetic light. Gone are the long keyboard passages, in its place crushing riffery reveals a more aggressive approach. Founding figure Carl Johan Grimmark makes his present felt with flying solos and the overall musicianship is up to the level than you can expect from sidemen of melodic metal mainstay Rob Rock.

This is an enjoyable album that marks a new start for Narnia.
