Krossbreed - Carved In Stone
Krossbreed is a band from Belgium and started out in 2003. Their first demo was released in 2004 and searching for an own direction. The follow up came in 2006 and showed a band which played faster, tighter and more expansion in songwriting. After this the band won the battle for a place on W.O.A. 2007 and gave them wings to continue the breeding. And here in the beginning of 2008 a new demo is released and containing 5 tracks in a heavy, solid and clear production. The co production is done by Peter De Wint (who sang in Crossfire and sometimes I hear the Crossfire sound in the guitarleads). The tunes range from pounding mid parts to up tempo and with unexpected things like the accoustic guitars at the end in the opening song. Thrash is the base added with a dose of metalcore and from this they expand their ideas. The guitars are prominent with licking riffs and very nice soloing.
Overall Krossbreed made a nice demo with enough variety in their thrashcore so check out their Myspace page for some tunes and lots of video.
