Iperyt - No State Of Grace

I'm gonna be honest with you, I have never heard of this black/death "industrial" metal band from Poland. Iperyt was formed back in 2005 and by the way as my last review also part of Witching Hour Productions but here it goes...

The album "No State Of Grace" launched February 2011 contains industrial elements as well as the harshness that characterizes black metal but also you can find grind & death sounds on the entire CD. Violence is all over the album and of course it reflects on the apocalyptic artwork of the CD cover. I loved it !!!

There’s a certain drum tone repeated throughout the entire first song and at the start I was kind of worried it wouldn't go away on the entired CD but it did for the rest of the tracks. The album has some punk inspired riffs on a few songs that helps to make the first half of it fun listen to, personally I enjoyed "Scars Are Sexy".

Generally I really don't think this is a good CD, musically speaking cause the drum samples used sound incredibly harsh and the guitars are loud as hell, so the whole thing sounds like pure bombast. If you are into that, go for it !!!
