Incisor - Death Metal Supremacy

Incisor is a brutal Filipino death-thrash band whose members reject all musical trends while shunning anyone who seeks to profit from their notoriety. Their passionate belief in the integrity of their genre is enough to arouse interest from purists everywhere. Incisor came together in 2008, embarked on a quest to create the most chaotic and blasphemous music imaginable, and things haven’t been the same since. Death Metal Supremacy is the band’s depiction of a black mass, set to the cult metal perspective established by bands such as Blasphemy and Beherit in the 90s. The cult overtones Incisor bring to this CD is entirely unique to the band’s home country. The music tends to be sloppy in some places, but in a way this contributes to the band’s uncompromising appeal. This reminds me of Venom’s attitude toward recording and playing music when they helped start the thrash metal phenomenon in 1982; it doesn’t matter if you occasionally miss a beat or a note as long as the enthusiasm is there. This is a recording to acquire if you seek bands who defy convention.
