Cult Of Daath - Slit Throats And Ritual Nights

Cult Of Daath is only know by me with their tape "The Triumphant Holocaust" from 2000. Now in 2005 a full length comes out, so a chance to pick them up again. Cult Of Daath plays raw and old black metal style. They not trying to set speed records but solid, ritualistic and barbaric black metal. After some listening rounds the conclussion is that it has a catchy hook and the long duration has enough variation to keep attraction. The only remark I have that sometimes the influence of Hellhammer can be heard very clear. But is it a good album though.
