Carnavage - The Hairless Fat Carnage Deed
Carnavage hails from Algeria and hide members of Litham and Homicidal, formed in 2004 and released their demo 1 year later called "Carnival Of Carnage". Here in 2007 they release a new EP with 8 tracks and 2 covers (Mortician and Avulsed). Seing the artwork and the songtitles you know you have to be prepared. Pure slaughtering grindcore but with a humor touch. What about integrate a child song "Father Jacob/Frere Jacques"? Or movie samples? Or that reggae tune? Most of the time they step to the pedal but also doing mid tempo breakdowns with that polka swing beat. The vocals sound like a decapitating pig and the guitars are heavy sawing. Carnavage releases a nice EP showing that they had fun recording and really love this style they are playing.
