Angerstrike - Blackened Sky
Angerstrike comes with an EP in a heavy blend of various metal styles. Call it modern thrash metal or call it metalcore... Frequently the double bass pedals are hit, screamy vocals and rather standard guitar riffs but where are the fucking leads? The problem with this kind of metalcore music is that it sounds aggressive but after a few tracks you can't remeber what they did in the first track. O yeah, the band is capable of playing heavy but I would like to see more catchy and variation so the tracks keep hanging in my humble head. The thing that will be remembered are the hammered double bass kicks... but that isn't enough.
