Please give us a short introduction of yourself?
Well, I’m Skinned Alive, the singer, or I should say the “growls man” of Carnavage.
Are the other things we should you know of? Other bands, other media?
Yeah of course, each member of Carnavage has his main project. Grindazer’s one is of course Litham (the most ancient and the most popular metal band in our country), Utila had some shitty black metal stuffs (the main are Nihil), for my self it’s called Homicidal, this is a brutal death metal one and which Utila plays too. So, I think that’s all about for now.
Playing in other bands is Carnavage just a side project? What if is would be bigger than your main bands?
The most important thing is that I enjoy both projects. Any success from Carnavage or Homicidal you know are welcome. I guess that is the same case for my bandmates.
What was the reason for starting this grind band? What will it add to the scene?
This is only a fun project, no compromise and no restraint. We want to do some crazy music, I mean expressing the rage in a different way you know... that’s it.
You are from Algeria. Most people will laugh about this. So tell us why they shouldn't.
Oooh... hehehehehehehe really?! They are free to have some fun, but what a stupidity that is to laugh because of that!
Do you often encounter this prejudice about your country? Can you understand why? Do you have some prejudice about other countries?
Never before someone told me that ! Yeah I can understand, cause they are fucking stupid and immature.
On your site you read the word CUNT-act. Are you hoping for some pussy? How should it smell and taste?
Yeah as ever, we need some pussy back here... mhhhhh. I think that should smell nice and taste a little bit sweety, “smell nice, taste sweety” could be a good song title won’t it? (yes it would be and I hope to get some credits for that one.... Twan) Do you have some sexual experience with girls from other continents? Hunting for tourists in summer?
I still prefer a pretty bumpy Algerian pussy. But I don’t know for my bandmates. Tourists?! Why not, especially if they came from The Netherlands... hahahahahaha, I want to suck man. (you want to suck man??? are you gay in real life?? Twan) Is sexual related imagery allowed in the Algerian media? How controlled are the authorities? Censorship?
Not at all, as everyone expect and should know all the shits related to sex is banned from the Algerian media !!! Censorship exists everywhere in the world but still have a pretty life choice here, and I think that is more easier to play this kind of music and metal in general here in Algeria than the other countries from our area.
Are you following the unity of Europe? A lot of European countries gathering together to operate as 1 against the rest of the world?
In my opinion this is a christianity based on unity ! Anyway I don’t give a shit about that politics absurdity !
Why did you choose a cover of Impetigo? That songs is covered already a lot of times. It would be more interesting to hear some other songs not done before?
Well, the first interesting question ! First, as you know Impetigo still is a serious reference in grindcore style, and the crazy Americans still influences a lot of grindcore bands from the grow-up, in a way Carnavage too. Secondly, we did especially this cover in order to take part on the “Tribute To Boneyard” with such great bands, this tribute will be relased by Ganay Design Records (Czech Republic).
Well, summer is coming and what are your plans for the holidays? Something else instead of the pussy issue in the previous question.
Anyway still have the ass issue ! A creamy tighty big one will be great to watch it shaked and balanced then, time to have some pleasure can’t wait. No, no, seriously, the plans... ok the word is “working” very, very hard on the next demo album and try to prepare something really very crazy. We have already some crazy riffs that blast a bit, I tell you !
What are the plans for the future after the summer? What can we expect from Carnavage?
Like I told you in the previous question, the next demo is our main plan for now, hopefully it will be through on September. But before that there are some other plans, and you can expect a lot of Carnavage before,during and after the summer period. Well, let me start, “Carnival of Carnage” the debut demo album will be released on Atolinga Records (Mexico) and Sukk Productions (Turkey), we have to plan some local gig dates, in our diary we notified also a split CD to release (any interested band are welcome) and the most important thing is that Carnavage will be on the “Tribute to Boneyard” as I told you before.

We need more help from those whom are interested in what we are doing in Carnavage. Any other concrete supports are welcome.
