Vomitory - Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize
Metal Blade have some long running death metal bands in its rooster. After new releases of Monstrosity (superb) and Six Feet Under it is now time for Swedish Vomitory. Like SFU they just do what they supposed to do, deliver a slamming piece of brutality. The clear and deep grunt which gives it muscle is singing about the mutilation, body parts and other blood related issues. Musically it is tight and fast forward but they also keep it down to avoid an overkill of monotonous structures. Guitars are sawing gently with some nice and aggressive leads. With this album the band is showing that their blood is not running on empty...
