Vermin - Solypsis
This disc is from 2003 and is my acquintance with the Dutch band Vermin. Professional looking disc with a CDROM track and that already earns some points. But the music is the important part of the disc. It starts with an intro from a torturechamber and runs over in a brutal death metal song with some thrash influences. Deep growls with some screams in the back (which could be done more), fast drumming and furious guitarriffing makes the feast complete. Minor technical gaps in the recording but only freaks will hear, for me as a fan it sounds oke Ron. Tempo of the songs is high but also resting elements are build in and with enough melody. Concluding that is shows perspectives for the new album that will be recorded later this year. Looking forward for it.
