Set Your Goals - Reset
Set Your Goals is hailing from San Francisco and this is their first release on Eulogy Recordings/Alveran Records. This is not a new release but their 5 track demo plus 1 cover of Jawbreaker. When the disc starts you have the impression to listen to a melodic hardcore band. But you are wrong. It is not only hardocre but stuffed with a great par tof poppy punkrock. Two vocalists with different tones, sing a long lines and melody rhythms. After hearing the songs I was not impressed very much because it is sounding too poppy for me although the video footage suggested to deal with a slamming hardcore band.
