Septekh - Apollonian Eyes
Battling out of Stockholm Sweden Septekh emerges. Consisting of 4 members this band has much to offer. Their 1st demo in 2009 followed by an EP titled “Not Quite What I had In Mind”, another E.P titled “The Seth Avalanche” in 2012 and finally “Apollonian Eyes” in 2013. This band has much to offer.
Apollonian Eyes: The title track Apollonian Eyes is pretty straightforward, Thrashy and attacking full force. This song takes you though a roller coast of riffs and kicks ass. Bun it to the Ground (2nd track) is heavy as fuck and sure this song kicks ass live. Very heavy and solos are totally ripping. Curing The Gods kind of reminds me of God Dethronthed for some reason, which I think is a good thing, right? Lots of killer riffs with great screams and growls from beyond the graves! The last track Vlad Tepes one of those fist pounding songs with that Guitar riffs of thrash. I’m also getting the Destroyer 666 feel in some of the parts which again (my own opionin is killer). This E.P is 4 songs and runs at 16 Minutes .
My Conclusion: This release has great production and it seems that these guys know exactly what they want to do music wise. Excellent musicianship. Great work and I think this band’s next release should be very interesting and I’m sure it’s gonna be something to look forward to in the future.
