Relics Of Humanity - Obscuration
Belarus based brutal death metal monsters Relics Of Humanity will release their brutal EP “Obscuration” here in 2019 on Willowtip Records. Six tracks of pure massacre, in the vein of bands like Disgorge (USA), Decrepit Birth (first album), Deeds Of Flesh, Deprecated and similar. Even in the line up you will find Deprecated vocalist A.J. Magana. A.J. also did the vocals in Disgorge once. Guest spot on bass is done by Derek Boyer of mighty Suffocation.
The music of Relics Of Humanity is brutal, technical and with good compositions. Ultra growl vocals but you can understand him. Low tuned guitars with non stop riffing, supported with fast blast beats as you demand but also slow parts. Slamming and with epic intensity, linking every song with the other. I would sum up this EP as brutal intens! Relics Of Humanity are the belarian twin brothers of Disgorge.
The artwork is handled by the infamous Dan Seagrave, that has work for Morbid Angel, Decrepit Birth or Suffocation. Mastered by Joe Cincotta that has work for Suffocation, so of course the sound is perfect. If you like the aforementioned kind of bands you will love this one and Relics Of Humanity deserve it.
