The act of vomiting pus? Gross to even think the possibility of it! So imagine when a band that comes from Philippines baring such a name, and declaring that their music talks about necrophilia and gore, decides to release an EP. It's the combination of the brutality, bands from Philippines reek, along with the atrocious way these guys express themselves, that explains the barbarity spilled from the speakers once this new EP of them first plays! 2014 is the year of many great brutal albums, so Pus Vomit decided to strike after their first full length of 2013, with this EP here baring the title "Stoned To Death". So what does a band do, after having released a great full length? Well that is an easy question for those Pinay mongrels to answer. They record 5 new tracks and blast the shit out of our ears! Well actually there are 6 songs on this EP, as one can find a re-recorded version of ' Your Dead Body I Molest' (which is the band's first recorded track ever) as a hidden track!
Pus Vomit play brutal death metal with some slamming interleaves here and there! Their main cause is not to sweep the listener away with speed, but with their overall extremity. In lyrics, artwork and music of course! This means that once "Stoned To Death" starts playing, you will come upon a really rough and thick wall of blastbeats, growling vocals, heavy guitar riffs and a bass guitar capable of mass destruction! They all follow the rule of brutality so they blend in really well, creating a heavy tone unmatched! From the start till the end you find yourself swept by their intensity and roughness! 19 minutes till this whole mess is through. And again and again. Can't get bored with it!
