Outcast / Moker - Split
Always interesting to get a split release. Shiver Records recently joined forced with Deathmetal.be and they already released some nice stuff (Axamenta). On this split you find Outcast and Moker. Funny thing is that the bands started as hardcore metalcore bands. Nowadays the fill your ears with brutal death metal. Outcast is the opener and with their 3 songs they play heavy tuned with gutteral vocals. Tempo that goes fast with mosh breakdowns. Guitars are doing some nice leads in these neckbreakers. Ofcourse they are not inventing but who cares?
Moker is starting with an easy going guitarriff and continue with brutal vocals over a hard metalcore beat. They aren't really brutal death and they are sounding a bit messy. There are some nice parts in the songs but overall it is not convincing for the 100%.
So better check both out first by listening to the two songs or go to their MySpace for more tracks.
