Nasum - Doombringer
Nasum was formed in 1992 with the intention to create straight forward grindcore with the old Napalm Death as the guideline. What followed in the years to come was exciting. Nasum did their job more than oke and with their material they became an influencial band themselves. The strength of Nasum lays in the organized structural noise that we call grindcore.
The career of the band was abrupted as fast as their songs were. In 2004 the vocalist Mieszko was killed in the Tsunami and without him no use to continue.
The last release of Nasum is "Doombringer", a live album that was recorded in Osaka, Japan. It was recorded on their final tour and shows a band that is well oiled when it is comes to chaos and destruction. 16 Tracks in 25 minutes marks the career of one of the last influencial grindcore acts in the last decade.
And as a bonus you can watch the videoclip of "Scoop" filmed on different nights and when you look closely you can see a shot of Shane Embury of Napalm Death. But this is not so strange as the video was filmed by Mitch Harris, haha.
