Monstrosity - Spiritual Apocalypse
Monstrosity is a long time running death metal walz who started with their debut "Imperial Doom" back in 1992. Today the band has a new vocalist in the form of Mike Hrubovcak (Divine Rapture, ex-Vile), but also guest appearances of Kelly Shaefer (Atheist), Matt LaPorte (Jon Olivas Pain), John Zahner (Savatage), Jason Suecof (Capharnaum) and James Malone (Arsis). Does this mean it is weaker? Hell no, Monstrosity expants their capabilities and deliver a brutal piece of work. Songs that go full speed ahead and breaking down regularly with rich and hype drums and great dwelling leads. With this album Monstrosity is setting the tone this year for the death metal scene. Brilliant!!
