Mass Murder - Extreme Extinction

Mass Murder, a band formed by ex Necrotorture guitarist Francesco Corcio, arrive with this "Extreme Extinction" as their second official album after "Aracnofrenik" released in 2015.

9 tracks of pure and uncontaminated brutal death metal make up this work, much more mature than the previous one but which in essence does not give us anything new on the musical front.

Good job from all points of view, both technically and compositionally. Very fast and direct songs; With the exception of the last track (which sees Luis Maggio as guest - Sudden Death / Bloodtruth) all the tracks never exceed 2 and a half minutes in length.

It starts with the intro 'No Mercy' to then be thrown into a vicious circle with the title track 'Extreme Extinction' in this really well done full album.

Good work of the band, but in my opinion still far away to be able to emerge head-on from the musical cauldron that surrounds us.

I think this can definitely be the band's starting point; With this work they have created excellent foundations for starting and facing new musical journeys and new experiments.
