In Age And Sadness - Promo 2005
In Age And Sadness is a Dutch band and already released a demo in 2004 called Tragedy Of The Common. And when you see the bandname, titles and artwork you can imagine they play doomy metal. Yes, you're right. Based on bands like My Dying Bride and Opeth, IAAS comes with this 4 tracker. Long songs, nice atmospheric melody, good guitarriffs and leads that really flow through the songs. Vocals are clean and few times grunting. The closing song has a heavier beginning and end. The songs are not in the final mix but show us a nice potentional band that make interesting songs. Melodic doom all the way!
