Hyban Draco - A Prophecy Of Insane
“A Prohecy Of Insane” is the very first release of this Black / Death Metal act from Spain. It contains 3 songs with a total playing time of almost 13 minutes. No doubt, these guys are obviously influenced by the almighty Dissection during their earlier period. The sound quality of this demo is ok and you´re able to hear every single tune. The songs vary is tempo and riffing and these dark Spanish souls surely have a vision of how they want to sound. Mid-paced parts with double bass attacks turn into raging but still melodic Black / Death Metal blizzards. The vocals are harsh and fít the songs pretty good. “When We Die” is a bit of an exception, because this track has lots of spoken words components and offers its hatred later than the previous numbers. Although Hyban Draco doesn´t reach the brilliance of Dissection, this self produced demo is a real good start for a promising underground band with a clear musical vision.
