Hummano - We Hate You All!!!
'We Hate You All!!!' is an album as violent as the title itself suggests. The band most likely consider themselves the party-metal version of the sub-genre deathcore. Which in all honestly I wouldn't call a bad point, depending on your own personal preferences.
The album starts with the very brutal 'Conscious Orchiectomy', this track boasts of the band's confidence with the deathcore sound, almost in a way where they seem somewhat original within the scene. Guttural low screams are what stand out for me, the vocalist dominates not only throughout the first track, but the entire album's completion.
The track titles remain comedic on almost all songs, which is a common thing for a lot of deathcore acts. 'You Suck', 'WTF', 'Bitch-Slap', and the hilariously titled 'I Blew My Dog And Liked It' are just some examples of this. Throughout said songs, the band compromise by not just being a barrel of laughs, but by using an array of fun gang-chants, chilling breakdowns, and a bit of character that goes hand in hand with the band's clown-ish style, a style which often reminds me of deathcore's own Dr. Acula.
My favorite track on the album is probably 'Aliens And Shit' which features a guest vocal spot from Thirteen Bled Promises' vocalist, another band deserving more attention. Both vocalists sound intense, battling each other for the lowest low sounding growl.
Hummano have created a fun album. Something that will never need to be taken seriously in their career. On a future release, these deathcore loonies will need to pack a few more surprises in order for the genre to keep it's entertainment currency, but 'We Hate You All!!!' is a consistent record, that for now will keep the fans hooked.
