Exodus - Exhibit B: The Human Condition

With founding members Gary Holt and Tom Hunting at the helm I don't see Exodus retiring or passing the torch anytime soon. The band new opus "Exhibit B" proves just that. Their 30 year legacy intact the shows that they're far from dead. With the guitar tandem of Gary Holt and Lee Altus (another veteran who cut his teeth with Heathen) delivering sickly insane guitar riffs that make elder statesman Glenn Tipton and KK Downing (Judas Priest) proud. I'm not saying that they are KK Downing and Glenn Tipton. But I have to put right up there with them. The thing that they have in common is that they are the most underrated guitar tandem in the metal scene. If you listen to the gutar solos you know what. Fuck it they are the KK Downing and Glenn Tipton of thrash metal.

This is most brutal Exodus CD I heard in quite some time. The wild card in this band has to be Rob Dukes. What I love about this guy is he doesn't sound nothing like the band previous singers (Zetro and the legendary Paul Baloff). Rob is capable of holding his own and then some. "Burn Hollywood Burn" is a fuckin brutal stab of the fake plastic snob that taking up our air and everything that's wrong wth society today. One song that you pay attention to is "Nanking" which is audio history of the atrocities committed by the Japanese imperial army doing their invasion of China in 1935.

"Exhibit B" has to be one of most brutal thrash album the band put out in the post Baloff. For you youngsters out there pick up this CD and listen this masterpiece of thrash metal history!
