Ephel Duath - Pain Necessary To Know

Ephel Duath is a band from Italy that combines extreme metal with jazzy rhythms. You can hear this in the instrumental parts of the songs. It is like that freaky improvising jazz stuff. And the metal side is shown in the rough parts with the anxious screaming vocals. But the switch between the metal and jazz is very easily made and is looking very simple. But I think it is hard to make songs this way. Songs that are unpredictable which way they go. And so Ephel Duath has managed again to deliver an album that is attractive the fist time you hear and is becoming better after hearing it more and more.
