Cutting Daisy - The Fools Crowned Themselves Gods
Founded in the summer of 2003, Cutting Daisy gathered musicians and started writing. In 2004 their first gig and in the beginning of 2006 this demo was recorded. Cutting Daisy is a weird band name and so can you describe their style. On this demo you hear almost every style imaginable and even two styles in one song. Listen to the grunt, hear the atmospheric keys, headbang on the thrash riffs, feel the stewing rhythms and notice the folkish elements. The demo listens nicely but the vocals could be more diverse, it is sounding a bit too monotonous. Also the smashing guitarleads are missed. But in the end the demo sounds promising and the band has potention to make some nice tunes in the future.
