Creeping - Funeral Crawl
Creeping is band from New Zealand. They exist since 2004 and released a demo in 2005 called "Ten Horns".
In 2007 they released "Funeral Crawl" on the label Asphyxiate Recordigns. Creeping is playing misanthropic black metal (vocals) with doom and stoner touches like in the guitars. Heavy, melodic and fuzzy guitars that reate the melody lines and doing stoner like solos. The lyrics are screamed out like he is pain physical and mental.Tempo is mostly played in mid tempo but with some accelerations.
The reference to Creeping that comes to my mind is Hellhammer. They are not so heavy or doomy as Hellhammer but in some songs I have the feeling they are there. Just listen to the vocals but also the drum patterns.
