Created To Kill - Worship Or Die
Hell yeah, this is true underground shit. Brutal Death Metal with killer riffs, real good drum work and lyrics about the typical gore and horror stuff that leaves every desire satisfied. The production sounds ok, even if the guitar sound could have been more powerful. The vocals range from deep and guttural growling to high screams and also the intros are well placed and simply not “too much”. Seems like this is a great album, right?! But wait: every (and I mean EVERY!!!) song was simply cut off at the end. Well, it could be a fatal error that occurred in the studio, but it gets annoying if you listen to the whole album. It´s impossible to enjoy the last riffs and technical skills if the titles end abruptly. This negative aspect is a big flaw and leaves a lot of questions… Don´t know why “Worship or die” was released unfinished, but I doubt that the band is happy with this solution. Result: a very satisfying CD with excellent brutal songs, but the cut off riffs ruin a huge part of the general impression.
