Cosmic Vortex - Konspirasi Busuk

The musical comprehension from Cosmic Vortex is as nutty as a snickers bar with twice the crunch. 'Konspirasi Busuk' is the ten tracked wacky album by these grindcore pledgers, in which despite only one song manages to cross the two-minute-long border, everything still seems listenable to the point where these guys could become unique. Clocking in at just over fifteen minutes doesn't do the album many favours, but if you have love for this genre then you may appreciate the shortness, and brutalality of this record.

Combinations of extreme drumming and proper heavy  riffs eventually reach a point that defines grindcore as a genre of intelligence, and technicality, at levels beyond the average metal genre. This is easily proved within most tracks given here, such as the comedic titled 'Machine Gun Leg'. Throughout the fifteen minutes we're barely given a peak of silence, which is what grindcore is all about really; no nonsense, just fast and heavy music.

If the love for the genre conquers most then there's no need to be forgiving when the album blares it's final track, 'Sombong Is Not Cool Anymore'. This unfortunate, short listening of the album is at most, its only downfall. Never a dull moment, the album fulfils a destiny in which fans of the genre may have only one complaint. That complaint being; we want more!
