Conspiracy – Endtime Requiem
The band was founded in 2000 and comes from (Upper) Austria. It´s their 3rd output, beside a demo called „Temples to ruins“; a full lenght cd from 2002 titled „The end foretold“ and offers a mixture of Thrash and old school Deathmetal. Already the sound of the guitars and the style of the shouter arrange pure old school character. In the songs there are no extrem technical refinements , the band offers rather simple riffs and clear structured songwriting which sounds really cool. The band has their best moments when they are in mid tempo, the banging passages. There could be a second voice line much more often, because the high screams apply very good to the songs. All in all it´s a well done cd, horns up!
