Codeon - On My Side
Codeon is a band from Finland and is playing around since 2002. Now signed on Finnish label Dies Irae they release a MCD before their upcoming full length. Codeon plays a modern style of thrash metal. It's aggressive, melodic and militant. I say militant because of the constant bass drumattacks of which i think it is a bit too much. Vocals are raw and not too brutal and you can sing a long after some hearings. Guitars are melodic double riffing with some good leads. Aggressive but yet sensative. This MCD is a nice appetiter for the full length.
