Bolesno Grinje - Chronicles From The Tomb
Oh – old grenades. Or better – old atomic bombs. This is Bolesno Grinje which everyone knows now I hope. At least everyone who listening to hard metal. Bolesno Grinje is exist since 2000 and published seven albums until now. The latest publication now turns on my turntable: "Chronicles From The Tomb".
I had high expectations. Because Bolesno Grinje accompany me since their album: "Od Nesvijesti Do Grinda" from 2006 which was a really cool grindcore-album. But with their album: "13" from 2013 they reached the grind-olymp I think and to increase something like this is very difficult. So I was a little bit anxious, I might be disappointed.
And then came the first sound. Wait a few more seconds. I had to wait until second 55 but then there is no stop! And at the latest after 1:33 min everybody knows what has beaten the clock. Pure fucking grindcore as it best! Absolutely perfect arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered. I doubt that it would still be better then this. Everything there, fast, faster, much more faster and between the fastest parts cool slowlier fast parts. And exact at the point where you would say that you need a break the music-monster grabs you and you have no chance then make further again. And you can go further, this is a great feeling. This is why I love grindcore!
But sometimes they grant you a short break but not too early. Just then you need it really. And you are happy about it and in the absolute right moment the grind-music-monster grabs you again – and further. What a fucking brilliant prank this album is. And what I really like in addition is, that every song has recognition-value. Not many bands are capable of doing this.
This is the reason why it is hard for me to mention a favorite song. My favorite song is exact the actual song. Every song has his own fantastic flavour. In this album, everything fits together. Completely. No wishes of the grindcorefreak remain open. Absolute buy recommendation. And cause of this, this is definitely the best album from Bolesno Grinje. Keep it up. I want 2015 to hear the next hammer.
