Apocryfal - Aberration Of Mind

In 2009 a death metal assault in Finland formed under the name of Apocryfal whom released their fist deadly work in 2012 in the form of a demo titled "Ravens". Hailing the end of 2013 Apocryfal decided to release their 5 track EP titled "Aberration Of Mind" which is a brutal dark continuation of what "Ravens" started back in the beginnings of 2012.

"Aberration Of Mind" as a whole contains a very dark atmosphere with grim melodies throughout. The tracks are very diverse with a heavy intensity which gives me the impression that each track both musically and lyrically were very well thought out . This album lends a mature sound and leaves the listener wanting more which actually is the only downside of "Aberration Of Mind", it ends all to quickly. I definitely want to hear more from this band and am curious what they will come up with next for it seems to keep on growing and developing towards greatness.

Strong low toned vocals up beat well timed percussion and catchy bouncy riffs which seem to guide everything along smoothly through the rocky ride. If you are a fan of Scandinavian death metal - old school laced with some modern influences then this is definitely an album worthy of your collection. This band and album are time well spent that you salt not regret. Horns Up and Bang Your Head! In short "Aberration Of Mind" is a very focused and intense album.
