Anaal Nathrakh - Passion

Flawless. Now, instead of reading the rest of this tripe I'm about to write, go listen to  this record. Times when you hear an album and the entire time your saying "YES! This is exactly what I want to hear!" are few and far between. The production is amazing, the drums sound immaculate, the double bass and blasting are flawless, the drum rolls are insane, there's extremely melodic haunting falseto vocals with raw emotional torment, and crushing guitar tone with superb definition and clarity.

"Violenti Non Fit Iniuria" starts off with a great progressive intro that leads into a  crushing first track. The clean vocals add a great dynamic to contrast the raw intensity. Great dying-sounding vocals in the beginning of "Drug-Fucking Abomination" ... very fitting vocal style for the name of the song. "Le Diabolique Est L'ami Du Simple" and "Tod Huetet Uebel" show off the incredible drumming and vocal range on this album. At 3:23 of "Who Thinks Of The Executioner," the drummer really shows you his skill level with his double bass work. I'm not sure if they are programmed drums or a session drummer but regardless, it's well done.

To exit this relentless, artistic, unique masterpiece there's a sick demented noise track.Calling this anything but Anaal Nathrakh is an understatement.
