Alughana - Yabal
This demo comes from Alughana (Belgium). This band is progressive and experimental in many ways. The use of traditional instruments with on top of that digital effects and analog folk instruments like for instance: bagpipes, didgeridoo, accordeon. The use of a made-up language makes all of this sound even more like a fairytale. Songs also change in atmosphere from metal into folk with recognizable melodies into ambient and more experimental and are structured with lots of mood changes. Vocals vary from enchanting male vocals into more psychotic fantasyfigure talking. Quite a nice demo with unique sound and good job on (self) production. Maybe an even more bombastic and massive sound would hypnotize us eimmediatly. For now this demo is interesting for worshippers of fantsay metal.
