Portal - Elements Portal is a band from Canada and they are playing progressive rock music. Not the hard or metal but more the easy listening rock songs. Clean vocals over midtempo or slower rhythms in long duration tracks. Portal makes backgroundmusic as it is easy listening. But overall it is sounding a bit too much like eachother for me. Ofcourse there are other melodies or tempo or sturctures in the songs but they are not satisfying for me. The band itself compares themsleves to Tool or Nine Inch Nails so fans of those bands can take a listening turn to Portal. Not any kind of metal...
