Philosopher comes from Germany and they call themselves a Lovecraftian Death Metal Band (lyrical theme is based on the famous writer). As I don't find lyrics interesting (sorry for the hard effort you made...) they could have called it Bert and Ernie Death Metal. Don't think I am joking about this album because it is great to listen to. Old school DM based on early Death, Nile and Morbid Angel. Up tempo with various tempo changes, deep growls and technical riffing. Strong build songs, well structured and solid played. Philosopher a new name to remember!!
