Where many bands nowadays follow trends in (trash)metal Oppression (Sweden) take us back to the old-school approach. A 3 song demo filled with late 80's trash/speedmetal. Guitarrriffs are very effective and powerfull with a lot of variation and good solos. Drumming adds some nice aggressive touch to the music. Songs have quite some unpredictable structures but tempochanges are smooth. Vocals are clean screams occasionally backed up by hardcore/trash backing vocals. Timeless music, no bullshit "trying to be progressive" modern metalshit. Also check out their other releases....
