One Master is a band from the USA that is self-releasing their debut disc "Forsaken A Dead World" at the end of 2006 as a pro pressed CD with black/white artwork. Meaning that the band is playing black metal with some death metal touches. On the disc there are 6 tracks clocking over the 5 minutes. The sound is very barbaric and raw with fuzzy twin guitar riffs and no leads. Drums and bass are on the ease and providing a backbone for the vocals and guitars. Tempo is merely up tempo with breaks to faster parts or even dwelling slow mid tempo. The whole reminds me of early Bathory and propably some other old school black metal bands. One Master is not trying to copy those bands but just continue to spread the feeling. An album for the raw old school black metal fans.
