Nightwish – Dark Passion Play

review by Rosberg Lima exclusively for BRUTALISM.com

After vocalist Tarja Turunen's controversy exit, Nightwish is back with a great disk. The title of the album Dark Passion Play, the even mark the new vocalist's Anette Olzon Blyckert, to that think that their vocal ones are similar to the one of Tarja is making a mistake. The style is completely different and it was adapted Nightwish very well. Not only the vocal ones, but the look of Anette is robbed and different. Once again the musical genius, Tuomas Holopainen got right in a vocalist's choice for your band. Your cost overcame more than five hundred thousand Euros (the double of Once) turning it the most expensive album of the history of Finland. Nightwish won the disk of triple platinum in Finland in less than a month of release, besides several disks of other around of the world. Dark Passion Play, an album versatile, singular and wonderful. Absolutely the best release of Nightwish.
