Nightrage - A New Disease Is Born review by Dave Wolff of Autoeroticasphyxium Following a successful stint with Candlelight Records from 2003-95, Nightrage return with their third full-length A New Disease Is Born. The band has consisted of former members of At The Gates, Cradle Of Filth, The Haunted and Disfear and channel their extensive experience as musicians admirably here. The songs are relentless and meticulous, there's a variety of intensity levels and solid contrast between the heavier sections and occasional acoustic sections. Vocalist Jimmie Strimell and drummer Alex Svenningson are on their way to establishing themselves as prominent talents in the current melodic death metal scene.
