Nidingr is hailing from the dark Norwegian forests and being around since 1996. But here in 2006 they release their debut album. This "Sorrow Infinite And Darkness" album is one piece of energy. Sparky riffs with some wicked edges, vocals that are raw and leaning towards grunts and fast beats. Most of the time the tempo is high but enough mid tempo breakdowns to keep the variation. An album that sucks the energy out of you with melodic but fast black metal mixed with groove. An extreme album for the extreme.
