Nefesh is the Italian word for Soul and that is what they want to put in their tunes. The band was formed by Luca (guitars) at the age of 17. So the band consist of relatively young musicians but they are able to play instruments. This demo only hides 4 tunes but bare in mind that the shortest is 9.18 minutes! So the band has to do something in those minutes and so you expect songs that have various elements of metal. It can be easy going to more up tempo beats. Also the vocalist range from clean parts to more grunting likewise. But he fails in the clean parts as it sound more annoying than enjoying. More enjyoing are the guitars that play emotion and melancholic leads. The band started with playing Pantera covers and sometimes you hear the influences like in the vocalstyle. Those 42 minutes are not bad but in the end the line between progressive and aggression is not 100% clear. There is variation in the song but the 4 don't differ enough and in the end I had the feeling I heard it before in the previous track.
