Mandatory released in 2007 this EP called "...Where They Bleed" containing 5 tracks. But the intro doesn't add something and the last track is a cover of might Canadian thrash band Razor. So there are 3 songs to judge. Mandatory plays death metal the old way. Deep growling vocals in mid paced songs with some polka rhythm drumming. The songs have accelerations to faster parts but only the drums are speeding up. On top of the drums are the thick laying guitars that are fucky heavy riffing and doing flying solos like Massacre did in the days. The cover is a nice interpertation and I don't see it as raping the original.
With "...Where They Bleed" Mandatory released a nice old school death metal EP.
