Malstrom is a hardcore band from France that is mixing metal in their songs. Together it is powerful combination as it can be heard on this MCD. Strong vocals, up tempo drums, clashing guitars and with plunging bass (track 2). The songs have melody and the tempo is changing frequently. BWhat I miss a bit are some sing-a-long chorus lines that can be shouted when slamming around. But at the end you have the conclussion that this is an energetic band that would electrify on stage.
