Malefice is a band from the UK and they release their debut album here in 2007 on Anticulture. Malefice is well oiled machine that is ramming the songs with percise craft like a machinegun. Melodic death metal, combined with thrash, leaded to the so called metalcore. The drums are tight and hard while the riffs are also sharp and good leads. Vocals are raw and low grunting but the guest vocals in "Dreams Without Courage" really drag the song down, nevermind that some find it nice but I think it doesn't fit. And after 45 minutes you say that you hear power, melody, groove and sensitivity. What else do you want?
