Please give us a short introduction of yourself?
Wazzup,...Jan (guitar) here from MASSMURDER, sick-ass brutal death from Holland.

How is the respons after your CD?
Great, all the reviews so far are really good, I really didn't expect that at all. I knew we made a sick debut, but never expected such great response.

How did you score a deal with UBR?
Well, after we finished the recording of 'slaughtered for snuff' we put up a MP3 on our site. few days later we got a mail from Mike (Unmatched Brutality) offering us a deal. So we didn't sent out any promo's, 'cause we wanted ubr from the start.

Was it easy to find a label? Never wanted to do it DIY?
As I told you, it wan't hard at all.

What is the reason for not playing hiphop?
There are no blastbeats in hipflop.

The CD is massive, bulging forward all the time. Not afraid to get drowned?
Nope, we've recorded it with a clear sound, it's not a chaotic bunch of noise. it's not for everybody, but if you like furious blasting death metal, I think you won't be disapointed.

Do you want to make an album referring to your influences but with your own ideas?
Well, we just make music that comes out when the three of us are jamming. I think every band has its influences, we all like Brodequin, Deeds Of Fflesh, Pyaemia....maybe you can hear that, but were not trying to rip anybody off.

How can you step in the spotlights? How do you get the needed attention?
Just make a good album.

Can you describe the Dutch scene? Do you notice differences in scenes in other countries?
I don't know much about scene's in other country's, but I know that Holland has got great bands like, Pyaemia, Disavowed, Brutus, to name a few.

Does UBR also help with gigs? Can Mike get you to the USA?
We have talked about an European tour, we'll see what comes out of that. but we first want to do a bunch of local gigs, so were not thinking about the U.S. at all. but you'll never know.

What was the most memorized gig and why?
The first one, because we totally sucked.

Next time you play in Eindhoven do you put me on the guestlist?
Sure dude.

Who is your favorit massmurderer? Is it not perverted to have interest in murderers?
I don't have a favorite murderer, I think its interesting, but our lyrics are not based on facts on those sick fucks, it's all fiction dude.

Do you agree to introduce death penalty in every country? Instead of spending billions of money on prisons?
I'm not into politics man, fuck that shit!

What will you do with the first royalties your receive?
Get loaded.

Any philosophical statement you wanna make?
Nope.
