Please give us a short introduction of yourself?
Killaman is a Swedish band. Formed ’02 and most recently released a full length CD. Memebers; me (Rik the Dick) on drums, Rune the Mean Machine / vocals, Unholy Roger on guitar and Johan Peben on guitar. We're trying out a bunch of bass player as we speak.

So there is life after Deranged and Murder Corp? Is Killaman now prior? What will happen with the other bands?
Murder Corp. are split up. It just felt to be to much a change to continue under that name. We had a new singer that wasn't sounding anything at all like old singer, the new material we were working on wasn't really what we used to do with Murder Corp. either and.hell, Murder Corp. wasn't going anywhere anyway. Ha, ha, ha. We are working on new Deranged material and will record a new CD sometime. God knows when.

You are busy in other bands or starting again. What is your fun to make music? What is your urge?
If I only knew.

I like the drums on the Killaman album, fast and thrashy. How do you keep in shape to maintain the speed?
Nothing special at all man. We're fucking constantly rehearsing and haven't really taken a longer break the last couple of years.

You obviously will sweat while playing live. Is your beard and long hear not itching? Why no baldness?
After been on the road for a good week, been playing a lot of smaller venues with no showers.yes, it will itch. Ha, ha, ha. I was bald a couple of years ago. I hated it. Ha, ha, ha.

I thought you collect vinyls? Why, how many? Do you have an insurrance for them?
I wouldn't go as far and say that I'm a ’collector’. Hell, I just like music and are into all kinds of shit. Anything from fucking Pink Floyd to early Carcass you know. Vinyl is basically a much funnier format then CD is you ask me. I don't know. I never grew into the CD format and have still ain't. I do sort of collect Kiss records. It's not a huge collection compared to a lot of other Kiss collections out there. I have might around 280-300 Kiss records. Anything from 7’ singles to CD's. Otherwise, I guess I have about 1300-1400 LP's or so.

And are all your releases also on vinyl? And do you have a copy of every release you played yourself?
I don't think that the second Deranged full length is out on vinyl, otherwise.yes. Don't know if the Killaman CD will be released on vinyl though. Fuck, most vinyls that are released nowadays sounds like crap. They can't fucking master vinyl any longer. I usually try to keep two copies of each release. I don't think I have the Deranged demo or the Deranged / Abscess split 10’ though.

Did they ever asked you to work on a soundtrack for a movie? Which ones would you participate with? For free?
As a matter of fact, yes. Obviously a small independent movie and I don't know what's happening with that. I would like kill to work on the soundtrack for a whole movie. Movies are a huge interest of mine and I watch movies whenever I can. I checked out the new Tarantino movie Kill Bill today. It was great. I liked it a lot. I guess that any cool horror movie would be the funniest project.

What is your fasination for serial killers or other horror freaks? Any explanation why people disapprove their deeds but want to see their film or read their books?
If you ask me, it goes back way in time. Mankind has always been fascinated by murder and mayhem and it's just only more ’recently’ the term ’serial killer’ have been more known. It's just the mankind fascination for celebrities I guess.

Your pic on the site is from Manson. Why him? Ever tried to get in contact with him?
The rest of the members in the forum had from the start pic.'s of Britney Spears, Shakira and shit so it was only suitable with a pic. of Manson. Eh? What should one say to him?

How was the release party for the debut? Lot of free beer and free woman?
Was there a release party? I wasn't invited.

What do you expect when performing? What do you give?
We haven't done any gigs with Killaman yet. Anyway, it's a cliché but we'll try to give 101%. Guess that we'll suck sometime and fucking rule other times. Just like any act out there.

Having any favorit country to play? Why? And what country can be skipped?
France has always been good to Deranged. They are fucking insane down there. It has been complete chaos except for a few occasions whenever we played down there. The Netherlands are cool as well. Without a doubt the best clubs in whole Europe. Once again, it's probably a cliché but we enjoy play any country. Sure, some countries tend to be a bit boring. Probably just been our bad luck.

Who is looking on the roadmap when crossing Europe?
The last couple of tours we've done with Deranged, we had a nightliner but whenever we did a tour with a camper it was usually me reading the map. We used to make it in a time. Notice, ’used’ to make it in time. Failed miserably a few times but.

Who was the person who got the very first CD? Did you autograph it?
I don't have a clue.

Any plans to make a DVD of your personal music career? May others know something about your personal live?
Nothing planned at all for the moment.

Tell something what is interesting to know about you? Where can we talk about when meeting?
More or less anything except from fucking weird obscure split 7’ singles by your local noise / grindcore band. Movies, games. I don't know. As said, more or less anything.

What is the top 3 of public taboos in Sweden?
Leffe D4, Charlie med Guldtanden and Jan Lennon.

Any comments to make about Killaman, bandmembers, spacecake etc?
Not much to say. We're a bunch of fucking boring metal heads closing in towards our 30 year old birthdays.

Last rites?
Be sure to check the Killaman CD out. Don't conform!!!
